Product Name: Figurine outlet médailles 1955 Catawba Lodge BSA argent castor scouts clé O of A récompenses
This is a very interesting collection presented in a well made shadow/display box lined with green velvet. At the center is a commemorative award that reads:

Wm. H. Coffey

In Appreciation

Catawba Lodge O of A

1955

Apparently Mr. Coffey held the title of "Chief" at the lodge 459 in 1955.

At the top of the display at the left is an award from the State High School Band Contest. In the middle is a metal figure of a scout. The figurine is about 4 inches tall to give outlet an idea of scale. To the right is a bright gold award for the Best Scout Citizen of 1933 at LHS. I dont know which High School this was. Under that award is a lapel pin for the national honor society.

One each side of the middle plaque are two small BSA lapel pins. On the right is the Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor Triangle lapel pin. On the left is another lapel pin with a blue and white striped background. I dont know what this pin signifies.

The row at the bottom are BSA awards with patches above. The awards include The Scouters Key Medal Award, the Silver Beaver Award and the Be Prepared silver eagle.

The shadow and contents are in very good vintage condition. The only sign of age I see is some darkening of the metals with age and some very light foxing on the silver beaver award ribbon.

The entire piece measures 16 by 11.5 inches.

UPDATE: I later ran across the framed certificates for the silver beaver award and the Vigil Honor for the awards that are in the display case. They are both in very good condition and nicely framed. I cant post any other photos but if you would like additional photos of these award let us know.

A note about shipping....this piece is very well made and solid so Im generally not worried about shipping. However, when the mounted the ribbons at the bottom they let them dangle so the solid metal beaver clunks against the glass front. So far it has been fine but Im a little worried about it rattling during shipping. Depending on how the buyer feels, we might consider opening the frame up to put a little block of styrofoam under the glass or something like that. But we can talk....
